Degrees to save the world

Hear our graduates' inspiring career journeys as they tackle some of the world's biggest problems. We explore everything from the fight against climate change and cleaning up our oceans, to protecting human rights and building inclusive, sustainable communities.

Year-12 on-campus events

We're running?five days of events on campus from Monday 27 June to Friday 1 July 2022. These are?designed to demonstrate how we're preparing our undergraduates with the knowledge and skills to help tackle some of the world's greatest challenges.

Each day will have its own subject focus and include a number of taster sessions on different topics, all with the overarching theme of sustainability.

To enter the competition, follow the following steps:

Pick up a sprout pencil at one of our Degrees to Save The World Events running from Monday 27th – Friday 1st July 2022 across our university campuses.

  1. Using your new pencil and a post-it note, write what sustainability means to you.
  2. Post a photo of it on Instagram, tagging @uni_southampton
  3. Be in with the chance of winning ?200 bike vouchers!

Don’t forget to plant your pencil when it gets too short to use, tagging us in your photos on Instagram!
